How To Setup The Indicators

The image below shows the indicators for this strategy;

Main Window

Two moving averages are installed on the MT5 main window with the following settings.

How It Works

BUY SIGNAL

Whenever price make the third bullish candle close above the two moving averages, that is a BUY signal.

Buy confirmation occurs when the Red moving average crosses above the Blue moving average.

Additional Buy confirmation is when price drops to test the moving averages before continuing up to form higher high.

SELL SIGNAL

Whenever price form the third bearish candle close below the two moving averages, that is a SELL signal.

Sell confirmation occurs when the Red moving average crosses below the Blue moving average.

Additional Sell confirmation is when price jumps up to test the moving averages before continuing on its way down to form lower low.

Indicator window 1

Basically, MACD and moving average indicators are installed on Indicator Window 1 with the following settings.

Buy signal occurs when the Black moving average cross down on the Red MACD line as shown in the image above .

Bullish trend is in place when the Black moving averages continues in a a downward direction below the Red MACD line.

On the other hand, Sell signal occurs when the Black moving average cross above the Red MACD line.

Bearish trend is in place when the Black moving averages continues in an upward direction above the Red MACD line.

When price is in a range, the two lines will cross one another in a flat manner as shown in the image above.
