BeanFX Newbies page will guide new or inexperienced traders on how to trade on Meta Trader 5 application for the very first time.

Many people are completely new to trading Forex and Indices. Sometimes, they ask questions like “how do you do it?”

 

 

“What do you click for you to Buy V75?”. “How do I apply TRAILING STOP?” “What do I do to close my Sell order?”

This page will give answers to some of the questions that new traders are likely to ask.

The first step for newbies is to open an account with a broker, for example, Binarydotcom.

However, the next step is to download and open the Meta Trader 5 (MT5) application on your personal computer PC or your mobile device.

To download MT5 on your PC, this will be done from the Binarydotcom site after your registration. You may visit Google Playstore to download MT5 app on your mobile device.

Opening Buy or Sell Trade:

To open a trade entry, or to Buy or Sell indices on MT5 using personal computer, you will click on the New Order button:

However, to open a trade entry or to Buy or Sell on MT5 using mobile device, you will click on the New Order button:

The Order dialog box will open on your personal computer and mobile device, see the images below;

For PC…

While for Mobile Device;

 

Click the Sell by Market tab to execute Sell trades. Also click the Buy by Market tab to execute Buy trades.

Closing Buy or Sell Trade:

Basically, your Buy or Sell trade that is open/running can be closed in profit or loss depending on the outcome of the trade.

To close your running trade on MT5, on your PC, you will do the following;

1. Right click on the running trade (use the right mouse button)
2. Left click on “Close Position” to close the trade (use the left mouse button)

 

 

To close your running trade on MT5, on your mobile device, you will do the following;

• Press lightly on the running trade with your finger

 

 

• Hit the “Close Position” button
